..One And The Same did not win the Battle of the Bands::::::...
(Hey, this isn't a page for only the good news...)  OATS did their best on July 31st at Evangel Church, but in the end the
judges picked a different group to go to the Autumn Blaze Festival at the Meadowlands in October.  As it happens, the
winner, "Runaway," couldn't have been a nicer guy.   OATS was grateful for the experience and they know that there
are other exciting adventures on the horizon.  For example...

.::::::One And The Same to perform at the 2004 Witness Festival::::::...
June 11 & 12 at Muddy Run Park in Holtwood, PA (the original site of Creation) the Witness Festival will take place- rain
or shine.  OATS has been invited to perform on June 12th at   11:15 AM.  This is truly a blessing for us as there will be
other well known artists performing there.  (Anointed, Big Daddy Weave, Sara Groves, FFH.... and many more.)  It will
be such an honor to perform in the same venue.  The organizers are expecting between 20,000 and 25,000 people to
attend.  All of the details can be found at the Witness Festival website.  We would like to take this opportunity to again
thank WJTL 90.3 FM in Lancaster.  Their support of our music played a huge part in us receiving this invitation to
perform.

White Dove Radio has recently added "The Father Will Find You" "Eyes Of Sorrow" and "Because Of You" to their
rotation.  White Dove Radio is the largest independent internet radio playing Christian music.  They have listeners in
152 countries!  Check out their website and listen to White Dove by going to our "Links" page.  You can also vote for
your favorite OATS song for White Dove's weekly Top 10 Countdown.  "The Father Will Find You" has already spent
several weeks on their weekly Top 10 and went to number one during the week of April 10.   
WAVA in Baltimore and Washington D.C. is also adding two or three tracks from "Someday" to their FISH (XM32)
playlist.

...::::::One And The Same supports Choice One Crisis Pregnancy Center::::::...  
Seeing God’s sovereignty at work in their own lives, Rachel and Mitzi wanted their ministry to somehow give something
to another ministry that is committed to sharing the Gospel and meeting physical needs of people in their own
community.  Choice One is that ministry.  They found an obvious connection to Choice One since the song that led to
the opportunity to record a CD was Hannah’s Song- a song about an adopted child.  “The issues that the Choice One
staff deal with every day affect us all directly or indirectly whether we realize it or not.  The work of this organization is
very important and very relevant to our community and society.”  
On October 10, 2003, One And The Same provided a special music presentation at the Choice One Annual
Fundraising Banquet held at the Trenton Marriott.  Hopefully, there wasn't a dry eye in the house although there is no
official way to determine that.      


...::::::One And The Same receives airplay::::::...  
The first track, "The Father Will Find You" has been playing on WJTL 90.3 FM, Lancaster, PA since the end of
September 2003.  The song entered the station's top 40 soon after airplay began.  One And The Same will be doing an
in-studio interview on WJTL on Dec. 8, 2003 during the morning show.    It should be interesting since Rachel and Mitzi
are not "morning people."  
"The Father Will Find You" also began receiving airplay on KWBB in Big Bear, CA in mid-October 2003.  One And The
Same also hope to receive airplay at radio stations in the middle of the country.
